2019 Barry Wayne Maham Memorial Scholarship
The Lodge is pleased to announce the winners of the 2019 Barry Wayne Maham Memorial Scholarship. Out of five entries, three were selected to receive a scholarship. The checks were written to the colleges where they will be attending. Foundation Community Assistance
In August 2019, the Foundation voted to assist Matt Green, son of Tappahannock PD Officer Chris Green. 24 year old Matt was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Matt recently underwent stem cell replacement and is still receiving treatment from VCU Medical Center. Pictured below are: Retired Henrico Officer Rick Taylor, Henrico Lt. Col. A.J. HFOP Lodge #4 History
On November 23, 1953, ten members of the Henrico County Division of Police met in the facilities of John Marshall Lodge #2 at 517 East Main Street, Richmond, Virginia. The announced purpose of this meeting was to form what is now known as Henrico Lodge #4. At that first meeting, Brother H. C. Terry, a member of John Marshall Lodge and the National Trustee, discussed with those assembled, what the next steps were to receive a charter. These conditions were swiftly met and another meeting was held on November 25, 1953. At this meeting, the charter was received from Brother Terry and the members were given the oath of obligation.…

Henrico Fraternal Order of Police shopping for Christmas presents with local kids Sunday
The Henrico Fraternal Order of Police is sponsoring its annual FOP Cops and Kids Christmas Program on December 4, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. Approximately 75 kids from Henrico and New Kent Counties will meet at the Glen Allen Community Center and have breakfast with law enforcement officers from both jurisdictions. At approximately 9:00 a.m., these police officers and kids will travel to the Wal-Mart located at 7901 Brook Road to begin their shopping excursion. Each child will be paired up with a law enforcement officer. A set amount of money will be allocated for each child. Half of the money must be devoted to clothing and other essential items. The…

What these Henrico cops do for underprivileged kids will melt your heart
HENRICO COUNTY, Va — Holiday shopping is always a journey of choices, but for families that are economically disadvantaged, those choices can be limited. Sunday morning, the Henrico Fraternal Order of Police provided a special Christmas shopping spree for certain disadvantaged families. Dozens of law enforcement officers from Henrico and New Kent toured the Walmart on Brook Road and bought the children clothing, essential items, and even toys. Henrico officer buys real toys for children who only played with socks
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — “Way to go Officer Bolland!” That is what Henrico Police posted on Facebook along with a brief story on what Officer Joseph Bolland did on a recent call for service that earned the praise of the department. During the service call, Officer Bolland met and bonded with two little boys who live in the home. While Bolland showed the children his police gear, he noticed the boys, ages six and seven, had no toys.
